ALAN BRYCE HOUSTON-PERRY
Official Facecast: Seamus Davey Fitzpatrick
When Dwight was 13, his 7 year old brother, Alan went missing. Dwight was visiting his other relatives house at the time, and never knew he went missing until 3 days later.
When he had found out, Dwight used a pendulum to predict the spot where Alan may be located. He was found lying dead in the exact spot that Dwight had predicted.
Used to camp in the yard with Dwight, surrounded by a salt circle and looking up at the sky.
When they "camp" in their front yard, if Alan gets too spooked at night while they sleep, he will get out of his sleeping bag and sneak in to his brother's. Dwight keeps his bag unzipped for that reason, and will wake up if he feels Alan climb in. He will make sure to put a fresh layer of salt around their ring to make Alan feel better, and then he'd play the music box to lull Alan back to sleep, and climb back into the bag and they would both sleep again.
After Alan was born, Dwight was often found visiting the nursery and peeking at the new baby. He likes being allowed to play with him.
One time, a kid Dwight’s age knocked Alan down in the street because he was in the way of their game. Dwight helped his little brother up, then went to the other boy and punched him.
Dwight adds a little something extra from his lunch to his little brother’s before they separate for the day.
Dwight's birth last name is Perry (his father's name). If you were to look at articles involving Alan, the last name would be that. This is why so few of the Dalton boys were able to figure out what happened to Dwight that made him that way--Houston doesn't crop up the results as well as looking for Alan Houston-Perry.
Dwights favorite memory of Alan is when Alan said "So I get to be Sam, right? And you're Dean?"
Love of occult and supernatural things is something that Dwight and Alan shared. Dwight continues on because he really just believes that sort of thing…and it continues to be one of the few links to Alan that he has left.
The original list of names, the Roster, was written many years back, on a piece of yellowing, blue-ruled paper. At the top, it says, The Hunters of Serendipity Hill. The first name was Thomas Dwight Perry. The second name was Alan Bryce Perry. And then, in different inks, as though one after the other, were the names Lucas Walters, Morgan Powell, Sadie Moore, and finally, in the newest of the inks, was Laura Bancroft.
Throughout the years, the Roster looked a little abused, wrinkled and aging. The first name had the Perry crossed out in ink, and replaced by Houston instead. The second name, though the person in question no longer walked the world, remained, and no one ever made any reference whatsoever to ever crossing it out, or removing it. It remains there to this day.
Alan was outside, doing his own 'hunting' while Dwight was away, and he got picked up by a stranger and killed.
Alan's killer was never found. Dwight spent some time trying to find the killer but most of his time was spend on getting Alan back.
Dwight wasn’t told a whole lot about what happened with Alan. But it would appear that Alan had been out playing by himself. Considering the…uh…”field of interest” that he and his brother shared, that’s the most likely possibility.
On Alan's birthday after his death, Dwight was found asleep on his grave but he finally started to speak after that.
He recieved a blow to the head that killed him instantly.
The last thing Dwight ever said to Alan was, "I'll be back soon, okay? If you need me, just call, I'll be there."
